Got my Blackberry Otterbox Defender case from USPS at last!

I finally received this package today. As soon as I received the package, I received an email from USPS for my ‘proof of delivery to shipment address’ chosen on their website. I thought this was highly efficient that no sooner had I received my courier that the status is emailed out to me and I was about to change my mind about the USPS! But, not so fast…The letter actually said they could not locate the shipment and they asked me to contact my local post office with a copy of that letter! That letter is signed “United states postal service”! This is comedy at its heights and shows the complete lack of coordination between USPS and their EMS counterparts in this part of the world!

One thing is for sure, I am never ever going to attempt buying anything through International EMS or USPS express mail again – given this harrowing experience I had!

Coming back to my package, I immediately set out to work and wrap it gracefully around my Blackberry. I just cannot afford any more drops and surprises like my iPhone and I will do whatever it takes to safeguard my Blackberry. This includes insuring it as well.

This is how the cover looks like.

The famous USPS package!

Don’t be confused by the DHL label or cover above. It’s just a pack they have used to pad the package. Had I used DHL, I don’t think I would have had this crazy experience tracking this particular shipment between USPS (online) and India Post EMS (by phone)!
