Over the moon/kudos – ISRO for making this happen

leave a comment »

This is real rocket science – I saw the television coverage of our Moon odessey last Friday as Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s brainchild, the MIP  (Moon impact probe) hit the lunar surface and even sent us images of close-up shots of the lunar surface.

Congratulations to the entire ISRO team that made this possible!

We are half way there and the next mission would involve sending a human to the Moon and back! A quote from the lyrics of my favorite Savage Garden song “To the moon and back”:

I would fly to the moon and back if
Youll be
If youll be my baby
Got a ticket for a world where we

So would you be my baby

Looking forward to more such missions from our very own ISRO (Indian space research organization)!
